Praying for my Church - Youth & Children *
“Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’ And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.” (Matthew 19:13-15; NKJ)
We often say that children and youth are the next generation of our church. That is true, but Jesus took it even further; he said, the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Let us be like those people, bringing our children and youth to Jesus that he would bless them.
Pray that the children and youth of our church would be brought to faith in God’s timing.
Pray that the children and youth of our church would grow in faith and knowledge of the Word of God.
Pray that the children and youth of our church would stand firm in the face of the multitude of temptations and enticements of this world.
Pray that the children and youth of our church would be bold and courageous to stand for Christ and share the Gospel with their peers.
