What is Twists & Turns VBS all about?
VBS is an exciting fun-filled week is packed with Bible lessons, worship, games, crafts, and so much more! Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this VBS. Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to video games and more, kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

What if my child has allergies or medical conditions?
Please indicate any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions we should be aware of on your child’s registration form.

What if my child can't attend every day of VBS?
We are happy to have your child join us any days they can!

Who is eligible to volunteer at Chapel Wood's VBS?
We only allow teens and adults who have regularly attend Chapel Wood to volunteer at our VBS. All VBS workers are required to complete Chapel Wood's screening and training process and submit to Federal background checks.

What should my child bring?
As little as possible! They will be moving from room to room, and unnecessary stuff can get lost easily.  The kids are encouraged to bring a donation that goes towards a VBS missions project during the week.

How do I pick up my child?
At the end of our closing session, the children will be taken to the field behind the church and seated in their respective groups.  We ask that you go to the group leader and show your security number to them.  Please note that a picture of the tag is permissible for entry, so it would be a good idea to save a picture of it on your phone as soon as you receive it in case it is lost or forgotten.

What if someone other than me is picking up my child?
Please let your child’s leader know at drop-off if someone other than you will be picking up your child. Be sure to give your child’s security tag or send a picture of it to that person. If that person does not have your child’s security tag, we will have to contact you first.
