Praying for my Church – Small Groups *
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25; NKJ)
The pattern of the early church is clear. Believers met in large groups for worship and to hear the Apostles preaching; and they met in small groups – in homes – to study the Word and fellowship together.
Would you pray today for Chapel Wood’s small groups? Pray that all believers would see the great importance of the small group for Christian growth. Pray that a spirit of love, transparency, and encouragement would flourish in each small group.
