Praying for my Community – Seattle / King County
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’” (Matthew 9:36-38; NKJ)
Seattle and King County have the consistent distinction of being one of the most unchurch populations in the United States. This is based on Barna’s research that includes factors such as church attendance, aversion to the Gospel, interest in the scriptures. Would you please pray for God to a great awakening in the Seattle area? Would you pray to the Lord of the Harvest to raise up laborers for the harvest? Would you ask God to do a mighty Gospel work in the Pacific Northwest?
