Praying for my Circle – My Family & Friends
Thank you so much for joining us on this prayer journey! Today we move from a focus on ourselves to the next circle of our family and friends.
“Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God concerning them is for their salvation.” (Romans 10:1; CSB)
Paul’s burning desire was for his Jewish family to come to salvation through Jesus Christ. Shouldn’t that be our deep desire as well - to see those in our circle of family and friends, who do not know Christ, converted?
I encourage you to get specific. Grab a pen and paper and make a list of those family members and friends who need the Lord. Will you pray for each of them by name? Ask the Lord to work in their hearts and minds and draw them to Himself? Ask Him to break down any mental, emotional, or spiritual barriers that have been erected against the Gospel message. Ask Him quicken their hearts to the great truth of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Keep your list nearby, perhaps in your Bible, and continue to pray for these dear ones to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
