Praying for my Circle – My Workplace

“And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.  So, because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for by occupation they were tentmakers.”  (Acts 18:2-3; NKJ)

Scholars are divided as to whether Aquila and Priscilla were already Christians when they met Paul.  I am inclined to think from these verse that they were not.  But if they were not believers in Jesus, it clearly wasn’t long - working together in the tent-making trade - that they heard the Gospel from Paul and came to faith in Christ!

Can the same be said of you?  Have your co-workers heard the Gospel from you?  Would you write out a list of your colleagues at work?  Would you begin praying that God would open their hearts to the Word of Life?  Would you pray for opportunities to share the Gospel with them?
